Bottled water spilled into laptop?

It happened while it was off. I put it in some rice for 48 hours and I checked and there is still a huge watermark (more like a huge cloudmark) taking up half of the screen. Some keys aren't working either. The laptop still turns on. Besides a costly repair, is there much I could do at this point? Would leaving it in a warm place (like a closet) face down do anything?

You have to dry it completely.
Put it in rice, seal it for 2 days.

The watermark could be permanant thoigh
