Dual monitors not working

My gpu is a gtx 960 i have 2 monitors a benq x24ll and idk the name if the other 1 but its some 1920×1080 monitor 21 inch from asus the benq is connected through the dvi (the cable that comes with it since its 144hz because hdmi doeant support that) and the other monitor is through hdmi and once i connect both of them and extend displays what happens is on my benq (main monitor) everything is fine but on the asus one it shows the mouse cross moving aroujd but everything is black and i do not know how to fix this any help will be nice

Have you tried dragging and dropping an icon there?
