Shift + O lags my computer

Whenever I hold down the Shift key + the letter O my computer suffers from spike lags for about 3-4 seconds before it becomes responsive again and actually shows the letter O, if I keep typing it just messes up whatever I typed after the O. It doesn't happen with any other letter, and it happens with either left shift or right shift and only when combined, shift by itself works great and the letter O too.

That is a very strange combination. Shift O isn't going to be a windows combo as its just too normal. It just makes a Capital O after all

Most common lines have Ctrl key or Windows key, not something you would type into a word document

Try doing a clean boot - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows
if that fixes it, it means its likely a startup program causing it. Add them back in slowly and figure out which program is to blame.

Another thought is run an anti virus scan or malewarebytes.
