Dislpay goes Black - after changing RefreshRate from Nvidia Panel

I changed my laptop screen refresh rate from nvidia control panel from 60Hz to 70Hz and apply changes. Then instantly my screen goes white. I wait for 3-5 min for any change but the screen remains White so I pressed down my power button and turn off my laptop and then turn on it. But I didn't get any display(graphics). I only get black screen. I attach my external monitor and it gets the display but now in Display setting I am only getting my external display even in nvidia control panel I didn't get my laptop display is only lists my external monitor.

I have tried uninstalling, re-installing, updating, downgrading, my nvidia driver but nothing helps. I can't even get my LP display in Device Manager

Does any buddy helps me to solve this problem OR my display is dead??

core i7 3720QM
8gb Ram
Nvidia K3000m 2gb
1920x1080 17inch display (Laptop)

Attach external monitor again - - - change refresh rate back to 60Hz - - - this should change refresh rate for laptop display as well, even though it's not currently listed, since the refresh rates are driven by the GPU, not the display.


In future check what refresh rates are actually supported by the screen before you mess with them.

I only get external monitor setting and external monitor is already set to 60Hz
