Monitor display going on and off

So i have a power strip. I use that to run my pc and charge my laptop. Recently I bought a new adapter for my laptop. So when my pc is running the the screen goes on and off after plugging in my new adapter to charge my laptop in another port. But everything remains fine when I plug in my old adapter. Both of the adapters are working. Any solutions guys? By the way my pc has a 530 watt power supply from thermaltake and a sapphire radeon rx 480 gpu. Both of them are working fine as well

your new adaptor is defective and pull more power then the old one check specs of both .
