Hello everyone,
I know this topic is quite often discussed, and the usual answer is, just boot from usb flash drive, and then when you want to install another windows, click on c drive and clean install. The problem is I cant boot from usb flash drive unfortunately (it just crashes, and gives me blue screen) Back story: pc is equipped with an su650 120gb ssd drive and has a windows 10 on it. Since I am having some issues with some programs not installing and not playing smoothley in win 10, i want to do a clean install of win 7. My question is, can I take out the ssd, put it in enclosure and then via usb cable connect it as an external drive to my other, primary pc? There I assume, I should be able to just erase all of the content it posses, even win 10 on it?
Thanks in advance!

Solution
Not sure it's going to matter if you can't boot from USB, but yes. You could take the SSD to another system, connect it, and format it from the second PC,
