When I sleep PC it turns off

When I press the sleep button on windows, my PC shuts down instead.

Edit: Just in case here's my specs
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500x
PSU: EVGA 550 watt bronze
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GTX 1060 3 GB
MOBO: MSI B-350 PRO VDH

Mine has done that since windows 7 days. As long as it wakes up again, there isn't an issue.

If yours isn't waking back up, then check what the switch is configured to do in windows advanced power plan settings.

I did powercfg -restoredefaultschemes as admin in cmd and it fixed it
