Hey guys, I need your help. I need a new router, but I'm not sure which one to get.
So far, I've found these 4 (all Asus):
RT-AC1200G+
RT-AC52U B1
RT-AC58U
RT-AC66U-B1

All of these have very good reviews (around 95%) and they seem to have everything I need - USB port, LAN x4, WAN x1, 802.11ac.
What is the difference between them, and which one should I get?
My current router is TP-Link TL-WDR3600, so if you could please compare it to these Asus routers and tell me that I am not downgrading, that would be awesome.

Interesting thing for you:
antennas: 1x1(RT-AC52U B1) 2x2 or 3x3(RT-AC66U-B1)
it will determine max performance 1x1 is 150 on 2.4g and 443 on 5G. 2x2 is 300/866 accordingly. 3x3 is 450/1300.

second thing is how big is rout house and if you have multiple floors.
further it needs to travel, stronger gain antenna you need ( it will travel further vertical, shorter horizontal)
strongest one here is RT-AC66U-B1. it should have fastest link and best range thanks to 3x antena.
also they are DETACHABLE so you can replace them with:

if you will need long range in any direction (while lowering range in any other direction)

Thank you for answering, Rdslw. Yeah I forgot to mention that I live in a relatively small flat too.

then if cash is not an issue RT-AC66U-B1 will be fastest and best range. RT-AC58U is solid choice, if you have 4+ devices. and RT-AC1200G+ would be basic solution (up to 4 devices).
I would not bother with RT-AC52U B1, its old and from experiance to weak (we watch netflix 2k res on 2 devices and its ok, but anything else starts to be a problem).

I think I will go with the AC58U. There's one thing that worries me a little bit though. I have seen one guy in the reviews saying that the Asus RT-AC58U cannot port forward, is this true? My router (TP-Link) can do that.
