Best way to leave my laptop downloading a game overnight?

So i want to download a big game and leave it overnight. I'm scared that if i leave it charging, the battery will die (break or something like that) and if i leave it not charging, the laptop will just turn off. Is it safe to leave it charging or what do i do? please tell me, thank you!

Yes, it is safe and should not be a problem to leave on overnight. Others do this all of the time (including me and the laptop I am responding from now). No worries.

Yes, sure man. Like COLGeek pointed out, it's pretty normal to leave your PC running overnight with the charger. Do make sure none of the vents are blocked and the PC has access to air and cooling. As long as you do that, you can leave it overnight. You can also save battery by using the battery saver mode.
