I recently upgraded to a new PC and from windows 7 to windows 10.
Had no issues on windows 7
When I am playing games on my main monitor (1920x1080 120hz) and watching anything on my second monitor(1920x1080 60hz) it will lock my game to 60fps until I close what I am watching or tab out.
My main monitor is 1920x1080 120hz
Secondary monitor is 1920x1080 60hz
Windows 10 64
And 1080TI with latest drivers
I've looked around and it seems this is an issue with windows 10? I've done a fair bit of digging but I can not find for certain the cause of this or a fix. It is extremely annoying when playing Path of Exile and trying to trade with other people through a trading website or when I am playing wow and I want to watch something. For other games I don't mind going full screen but where I am tabbing out in most of my games its driving me crazy.
Is there any way to fix this? or a program that would help me with borderless?
If I got another monitor and made my secondary monitor 120hz would this fix the problem?
Sorry in advance, I am sure that this has been asked before but there doesn't seem to be a solution I can find.
