Hi
I (mostly) play FPS games like bf4,bf1 casually.Shall i go for 1440p 144hz (Acer XB271HU) or 4k 60hz(lg 27uk650)? Both are 27".
Surprisingly 4k with hdr 10 is cheaper but i have heard that 4k is beneficial for 30" plus displays. Is it true
I am going to keep it for long time like 5 years.I am upgrading from Samsung VA curved panel 1080p 60Hz .

Running i7 4790k
16gb ram
Adata 250gb ssd
Zotac 980ti

Any suggestions?

As a user of a wqhd 27" 144hz display, i can recommend it for you. The 144hz will be a revelation when playing a fps game.
Working on a 4k display smaller than 32" will be a pain since either way you have to use scaling or the text will be too tiny to read. Had 27" @4k at work and didn't like it.

Plus 4k needs gpu power you don't have atm.
