I have two displays and windows settings and similar program won't launch in main display?

This is the first time I am working with multiple display one VGA and another HDMI. I have managed to run them both but when I open settings or other apps the apps won't launch in the main display rather it launches in the secondary display. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance.

I just refreshed the "Extend to Display" on the options and then my problem was solved.
