hello everyone, today i got my new monitor
ASUS ROG Swift PG248Q
so what is the best way to use g sync , like should i turn v sync on/off or use fast sync in nvidia control panel , cause i heard if u reach ur maximum or above monitor refresh rate g sync will turn off and then the monitor cause tearing/stuttering. so what is the best setup for g sync

one last thing if i oc the monitor from 144 hz to 180 hz does it affect it life span ?

Solution

Turn on FastSync in the NVIDIA control panel. It will use G-Sync when your framerate is below your monitor's refresh rate, and switch to FastSync when your framerate passes above your monitor's refresh rate.

No, the factory overclock does not affect lifespan to any measurable degree.

from what i understand from u is when fastsync and gsync are on and lets say the refresh rate goes above monitor refresh rate it will >>>automatic<<< change from g sync to fastsync and vice versa right ?

and what about v sync in game should i change it to off or on ?

Yes that is correct.

Leave V-Sync ingame off.
