Seagate a good Brand?: Seagate 4TB Barracuda vs 3TB IronWolf

What is the difference between this two and is it big enough to forgo going for the 89.99 4TB vs 3 TB for 73 bucks from Amazon. Besides the faster shipping of course.

I just need them for storage of media files. I'm still rocking a Samsung 1TB 7200 HDD from 2010 for my main gaming drive. It is only SATA 3 though vs SATA 6 but I dont think it matters for gaming?

Seagate is a common and fairly reliable brand for HDD's. IronWolf is supposedly more durable than the Barracuda series. I would go for the IronWolf since it is cheaper.

WB Blue 4TB for 84 bucks, Toshiba 3TB for 60 bucks or 4TB Seawolf for 100 bucks?

edo101, that IronWolf drive is not designed as a gaming drive but for NAS.

If you are going to be using it for gaming, you might be better off with the Barracuda, as IronWolf isn't exactly designed for gaming.
