Having trouble logging into Tom's Hardware.

It seems to be related to Chrome, perhaps some browser extensions, maybe HTTPS everywhere. I get to the welcome back screen and when I click login it just returns me to the forum homepage without signing me in. The tab then seems to keep continuously loading with a spinning wheel in the tab. It is also not loading the page as https i.e Not secure. Disabling HTTPS everywhere seems to have allowed me to login again but the page has still not loaded as https. Is there any known issues with logging in and browser extensions?

I'm having this issue too with Firefox. I had to switch to Edge so I could login and post. It's really really really frustrating; nothing about my computer has changed so I feel like some update on the site is triggering this. I cleared cookies, updated flash and java; nothing helps.
