GPU Cooling (Asus vs Gigabyte)

Hello,

I am about to buy a GTX 1080Ti. And I have 2 options.

Gigabyte GTX 1080Ti Gaming OC 11G and Asus ROG STRIX GTX1080TI 11G GAMING

Asus ROG GPU picture:

Which manufacturer's cooling is better? I am not planning to buy water cooling. I have seen videos about Asus ROG GPU and looks like it's better. What GPU would YOU recommend me to buy? Are there any AMD variants that are better?

Well I personally have the 1080 strix (not ti) and its an amazing card-dead silent and stays frosty even under load. With that said though Gigabyte cards (when it comes to Nvidia cards anyway) are just as good-its more so personal preference at this point and what the price difference is. If you wanted to go for an AMD card you can go for a Vega 56/64 but they are nowhere near as powerful as a 1080ti.
