279€ Acer monitor vs 469€ G-Sync Dell monitor

Hi,

I am currently looking for a 1440p - 144Hz - 24" monitor (I DONT want a 27" display), and I found these 2 monitors:

-ACER XF240YU
-Dell S2417DG

The fact is the prices bother me, indeed I believe the G-Sync might not be the only reason for the close to 200€ difference plus I'm not sure if it's worth it (I'm using a GTX 1070). So I ask you what do you think about these monitors and if someone has ever had one of these to help me.

Generally you pay £150-200 for Gsync for exact same monitors.

If you think Gsync is worth the extra, go for it. Personally I dont think it is, because spending another $150 on a monitor without G sync will be better, imo

My question isn't all about the G-Sync actually, and I agree with you on that point, but more about the fact the build quality could be lower, as I feel like (and I may be wrong) Dell is more "premium" than Acer.

Well, thanks for your answers, I'll wait one or two weeks and if the price of the Dell doesn't go down, I'll go for the Acer.
