My pc does not support miracast? how to fix?

I have a fairly new windows 10 PC but it says my pc does not support miracast. How do I go about enabling this or fixing it? I want to be able to watch movies and shows on my TV for the family but my pc isn't able to connect. Does anyone have an idea on what I need to do to get this fixed?

From what I have read, I should just be able to connect to my roku through settings then stream my pc to my tv and watch movies. I have a Chromecast but that only works for chrome based websites, I have a lot of non-webased movies id like to watch. How do I get miracsat to work?

Are you wired of wireless? As far as I'm aware, it only works through wireless.
