How can I convert/calculate a "Dot pitch" value in mm for a given monitor into a corresponding "dpi" value?

There are 25.4 mm in an inch. So if a pixel is 0.2 mm, then how many of those 0.2-mm lengths can fit in a 25.4 mm length?

25.4 ÷ 0.2 = 127.0 pixels per 25.4 mm, or 127.0 pixels per 1 inch.
