HI so i want to upgrade to ssd and i found few ssd s one is ADATA XPG SX6000 256GB - it is 256 gb ssd with read speed about 1gb/s and write 800 mb/s it costs around 75 usd then i found this WD Green 3D NAND SSD 120GB M.2 its 120 gb ssd but only with read speed of 545 mb/s and write around 430 mb/s but it costs only 40 usd - so the question is should i pay 30 usd more for the better one or get the cheaper one i will put windows 10 on it then steam + 3 games from steam and chrome, discord, logitech software and thats it i dont know because 30 usd is quiet lot of money for me but i would get double the read and write speed . thanks for your answers :)

This depends on a LOT of things.

1. What motherboard?
2. What OS?
3. What do you use this for?
4. Don't buy the WD Green SSD. Significantly subpar.
5. The ADATA is subpar for a PCIe drive.
6. What is your actual budget for this drive?
7. What other drives are in this system?
8. Desktop or laptop?

1. windows will take 60 GB with updates. You can delete them manually, but it will download something else and take the space again periodically. Only way to win is delete windows, so I assume 60 GB for windows permanent.
2. you need to have ~10% of ssd free to keep speeds. usually 25% is a good choice as you have no idea how updates on games/hardware looks like (and it makes SSD live longer)
conclusion:
if you install games on 500GB HDD then 120 GB ssd is enough. just remember to move steam lib to HDD. all other things Should easly fit in 20 GB free you will have for yourself on ssd and HDD will keep everything else.

If you want to put some games on there, you'll probably want at least a 240GB drive, since the install sizes of many games are getting rather large lately. The MX500 from the previous post would probably be a good option. I would probably go with the SATA version to keep your motherboard's M2 slot available should you decide to add a faster drive at some point in the future.

M.2 is for very fast ssd, nvme , not sata
It will work but you wasted a slot.

Sx6000 is very entry nvme ssd, just 2x normal ssd speed.
Recommend at least sx8200 or 970evo
Otherwise buy a 2.5 inch ssd

very fast SSD size 120-128GB are too expensive like Intel 760p.... sx6000 is more fast than any sata M.2 and cost same... sx8200(my favorite SSD) doesen't exist under 240GB
