1080p 144hz or 1440p 75hz?

If any could be recommended I’m looking to spend about £180-£210.

My specs are
Gtx 1060 6gb
I5 8400
12gb ddr4
240gb ssd
1tb hdd

Either is fine. Just depends on what you want.

I had a GTX 1060 and had it paired to my 96hz 1440P QNIX display, ran BF1 at around 70fps ultraish settings. So if you go to high settings, you should be able to hit 65-70fps in nearly all titles at 1440P.

I'd always go for higher resolution. If you're getting at least 75Hz in addition to a native 1440P Panel, that sounds much better IMO as you're getting slightly but significantly higher than normal refresh rates in addition to a high resolution panel. There may also be some chance of OC the refresh rate depending on the panel.

The panels themselves and the screen technologies are extremely important, so can't judge completely. However, that's my general position.

Want to use this for gaming at 1440p
75hz but I don’t know if the panel type (Mva) and response time (5ms) are good enough for gaming.

The MVA panel seems to have fairly decent color reproduction for a budget monitor. Reviews indicate it's excellent for a budget monitor.

The 5ms response time is just fine for gaming. Though if any latency tests are available, I'd check those as manufacturers sometimes measure latency differently.
