I need help guys. I have a HP Zbook G3 15 Workstation. Everything is working fine except hibernate option. The issue is whenever I hibernate the laptop it turns off the screen and then after 10-15 seconds it turns back on and the laptop is in locked out state. I mean the lockscreen is shown. Laptop does not hibernate.I have tried everything from turning off the hybrid sleep option to turning off the power saving options of the chipset but nothing did it. Please help me with this issue, I would be really grateful to you. Thank you.

Solution
did you try opening an admin command prompt or admin powershell and typing

c:\>powercfg.exe /hibernate on

then make sure your power profile is set for this like lid down or whatever. I turn it off because I don't want to constantly be running the ram.

Hello umarkhanxxx2

Can you please also try these to suggestions:

> Create a new Power Plan in the Power Options window, use the new plan, and see if it works.
> Turn off Fast Startup as explained here and see if the problem is resolved.

Feel free to report back for any further assistance.

Cheers!!
