What kind of monitor do I need to get in order to not have tearing?

The GPU I want is the Asus Gtx 1060 6gb dual-fan OC which supports Nvidia G-Sync but the monitor I want is a 144hz FreeSync enabled one. Will these two be compatible together? How can I get the best FPS?

They're compatible, in the sense they''' 'work' together, you just can't use the variable refresh rate of FreeSync with an Nvidia GPU.

"Best" FPS (assuming you mean highest) will likely require you to lower settings on a lot of titles with a GTX 1060.

free sync doesnt work with Nvidea cards

gsync only works with nvidea cards.

It will just work as a normal monitor.

Your monitor is not causing tearing. Even ignoring the whole FreeSync/GSync thing, if in your games, you turn Vsync on, that will stop tearing.
