Laptop screen replacement from another broken laptop?

Hello, I have an asus r752ma-ty179t and need to replace the screen.
I was wondering if buying a broken laptop on ebay or something with a compatible screen would be a good idea?
It seems to be the cheapest solution if it works. I also wonder if I can use any 17.3" screen from any brand/model then?
The part from asus costs +200€ and Im not sure I trust other websites.

You can probably get a new screen for you model on Ebay.com. See YouTube for how to replace the screen.

Yes but you can find laptops sold for parts much cheaper. I plan on replacing it myself.
