Should I use a TV I already have for my new PC build or buy a new monitor?

The TV I already have is a 28-30 inch smart TV with 3 HDMI ports,a PCI port,and YouTube and other websites.If I use this TV instead of buying a new monitor I can save a lot of money.(Btw I have another TV so I will still have another TV if I use this one.)

TV's don't have the high response time "usually" but some modern ones do.
Monitors will always appear to be better, but if you try it on you TV and are satisfied with it, then stick with it.
If it looks crap and performance is rubbish, buy a monitor.

I game on my tv with pc and console. I'm not playing any twitch quick games but I'm happy.

all the tvs in my house are linked with my computer and the one your describing should look fine only time it will cause any issues may be in first person games and some third person when you make quick side so side movements but other than that should work out ok
