How to boot an interrupted pc?

Hi

My Dell latitude E5440 was updating windows and was interrupted as I removed the battery while in process because it was taking too long. I put back the battery and reboot it, but it said restoring the old windows system. I again got tired of waiting and removed the battery and put it again and reboot. This time it only brinks with a little hi fine at the conner. When I press f2 it takes me to reset and when I press advance boot it asks me a password to unlock. Unfortunately, I don't have a password for this. What can I do?

Make an install USB stick via a fresh download from Microsoft

using Rufus to create a bootable media

and do a clean install. You can also use the tools on the USB stick if you want.
