Windows 10 - Cannot boot w/ secondary HDD

I have Windows 10 installed on a SSD drive and another secondary 2TB HDD for storage. I have recently reinstalled Windows on the SSD.

Whenever I plug-in the SATA cable for the secondary 2TB HDD. Windows is unable to boot and goes to Recover with error code: 0xc000000e.

If I unplug the secondary HDD, the window boots up and operates normally. I have tested further attaching the secondary HDD to a USB 3.0 - SATA connection and the files are read correctly.

Connect the 2nd HDD. When you boot, immediately go into the bios and make sure the SSD is set as the first drive to boot from.
