I can't find my thread I got an answer from wolfshadow and wanted to ask another question.
If I do go back to blank w-10 I got edge so there isn't anything I need to do
toget my gmail the right?

Solution

Depending how you perform the out-of-the-box Windows 10 restore, it could keep files on your computer or it could wipe everything.
You won't delete anything on your Gmail, since is not located on your...
So, you used to have Windows 10 and you want to go back to it and you want to access your gmail account.
Is that what you tried to convey?

You could access gmail from any browser and you don't have to use Microsoft Edge.
You could Install Firefox, Chrome, or even using Internet Explorer.

I just want to be sure when I go back to blank w-10 that I won't
lose everything. I'm going to restore w-10 to out of the box.
It sounds like gmail will still be there and I don't have to do anything. I guess it's
a safe operation

The biggest concern in my mind is that the restore fails, and leaves you with a completely borked system.
