win 1o boot recovery partition says empty is it hidden

how to unhide the boot recovery partition on hard drive win 10 I can see there is several gigabites of info in the drive but when I select it is says empty how can I unhide and use these files. HP 15 bs113dx notebook brand new did a factory reset and it showed me a screen that said please install os on hdd but when I boot with usb and examine hdd I see several directories and windows already installed on c help please

My notebook no longer sees the files on the hdd, if I boot into c prompt with a usb I can see several directories but I do not know how to load the operating system that is on the c drive.. how can I restore this I do not want to have to do frest install and then figure out how to install the drivers and software. will I lose what is on the drive now if I do a fresh install ?? all the HP software etc>>??
