Bypass security on protected registry keys ?

I'm trying to take ownership on key
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WaaS\WaaSMedic
with permissions ->advanced->change owner->apply
and i get
"Unable to set new owner on WaaSMedic.
Access is denied."

How do i bypass this?

Deleted all WaaS files i found in system32...pretty sure i don't need the key neither

Windows as a Service? Why do you want to remove this? What version of Windows 10 are you using?

Have you seen this? You should not muck with that, would be my advice, else you may get a borked Windows install and get to re-install as a result:
