vga connection display issues.

My Monitor display is cutting off the left side of the screen when I use a vga connection. If I use hdmi it displays correctly.

Then why not just use HDMI, I would certainly use HDMI over VGA if I had the choice.

To answer your question it is likely just a bad cable. Have you tried a different VGA cable?
