Hello,
I set my monitor to turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity in Power Options, but after 5 minutes it goes to lock screen and doesn't turn off. It says the same thing under Display Settings > Power & Sleep. It says there "Screen, when plugged in, turn off after 5 minutes", but it just goes to lock screen. How can I fix this?

Solution
Try going to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options and set the 'Require sign-in' option to never.

Edit: If that doesn't work you could always use a program to force the monitor off after pressing the hotkeys you setup.
I use this: https://monitor-off.en.softonic.com/
Very simple easy to use tool, i have it setup to press ctrl+Q to turn monitor off after 5secs.
