When building a pc, you insert your 8gb usb which boots up an operating system. Also if you need to connect to the internet wirelessly, you use a wifi adapter. My question is can you remove the usb once you installed windows10? Also, do you have to continuously keep the wireless adapter plugged in whenever you use your pc to connect to the internet? Sorry for my stupidity. Also, can these work for USB 2.0 and 3.0?

Solution
After windows boot to the desktop the Windows 10 USB Media is no longer required, so it can be ejected.
If your PC has only one device to connect to the internet (e.g. USB WiFi dongle), then that device should be connected anytime you need to access the internet.
A USB WiFi device should work just fine on either USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.
