hello i have a laptop lenovo z400 and my mouse worked fine at the start with random disconnects, it was not a big problem because it lasted just some seconds, but the disconnects became more and more often. it happens mostly when i play games, i tried a lot of solutions without success(i hope is a energy problem). (i had usb headphones and also disconnects)
here is a list.
in windows 7
- Device manager, uncheck "allow the computer to turn of this device...."
uninstalled and installed all usb related drivers a plenty of times
- downloaded a driver checker and uninstalled.
- i removed the battery and pressed the power button 10 sec ( that worked till i played some minutes)
-went to battery energy control and unchecked or checked some options (a long time ago, i dont remember)
-tried in all ports. same result
-activated legacy usb in the BIOS
Updated to windows 10 formating everything, worked until i played a game. ( i also let windows update everything including drivers.
