No audio win 10

After i installed win 10 to my pc the audio stopped working. On the bottom right of shows a red cross and a speaker. Tried installing drivers but but nothing worked

I will assume this is a laptop. What model and brand? Can you use the audio jack?

You can try these options

1 - Hold SHIFT and go to restart ==> Choose Troubleshoot ==> Advanced Options ==> UEFI Firmware Settings ==> Restart -- When the BIOS appears choose the option to reset defaults and then restart.

2 - Go to Settings ==> Update and Security ==> Check for Updates

3 - If that does not work go to your Device Manager -- Find the Audio option and delete the audio driver that is installed -- Restart your PC

4 - Download Driver Booster and let it scan and update all drivers - restart. https://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php

5 - Right click on your speaker icon ==> Choose playback devices ==> make sure your speakers are set to default

It's a desktop. Btw it doesnt even show that there are speakers or headphones connected it only show a mic.

Did you try the other options above? Do the speakers work on another PC or show under device manager?
