GTX 1080 TI - Using three 2K monitors but only gaming on one

I just bought 2 GTX 1080 TIs but I'm wondering if I have three 2k monitors 1 ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27" and 2 ASUS MG279Q 27. If I only use one monitor to game on would one 1080 TI be enough to power the 3 monitors? Without ill effects. I know for surround I cant a get the 144hz but I just want to have the other monitors for YouTube/iTunes and the third for guides or chat.

My current system is 2 GTX 980 TI SLI
32GB DDR4 RAM
I7- 6700K
Asus maximus viii extreme
1200 watts PSU

Yes, im using a 980 and i can setup triple 2k monitors gaming. So I think 1080 can. The problem here maybe with ram but you have toons so i dont think it will crash.
