Installed Windows 10 in "Windows 7 Installation" Mode

So ever since I built my pc, I've had stuttering issues in games. If I enable the dx12 option in games, the stuttering and fps get even worse.

I was recently looking through my bios settings and noticed that I had "Windows 7 Installation" enabled and "Windows 10 WHQL Support" disabled.

Could this have anything to do with my games stuttering and dx12 making it worse?

If I were to reinstall Windows 10 with the correct settings enabled, what would be the benefits? If they are really minor, I'll probably just keep it the way I have it for now since I already have 660GB of stuff on my SSD.

Have a look at this thread here at Tom's

MSI gaming M3 Windows WHQL BIOS option

I've looked at this. It doesn't really answer my question though. I'm mainly wondering if installing windows 10 in windows 7 installation mode has any impact on the performance/functionality of the pc.
