Tabbing out of Games

Hello,

lately I've been running into this problem with my monitor. I bought myself this model "32" ASUS ROG STRIX XG32VQ" and now when I tab out of games (it's not consistent, it can occur after first alt tab, or later after whole day of using) , or other way around tab into games, I get this screen problem. It almost feels like my whole screen gets somehow "doubled". I can't really explain it, but there's a sufficient comparison in attached pictures.
Anybody has an idea what might be causing this problem?

Which resolution are you using in windows and does this differ from the game resolution?

My native screen resolution is 2k (2560x1440), altough ingame I am using 1080p (1960x1080). Right now I can't think of any other situations when it happened while switching in between same resolution tabs/games, so probably it could be that. However, si there any prevention that you know of?
Also, if you know technical background behind this problem, could you explain it, I'd love to know what actually is happening to the screen when it happens.

Just a problem with individual games I think. Don´t know the technical background why it happens in some games and not in others. Only the game maker can prevent something like that happening I think. Bad programming or similar

Workaround could be running the games in windowed mode

Thanks mate. That's the only thing I couldn't think of and I suspect it is the problem. If I run into the problem any other time, then I'll be clueless, however I hope it is what you said

ctl-ALT-TAB is what I use instead of ALT-TAB because some program interfere with it (COD for example does) where it doesn't with CTl-ALT-TAb
