Any performance hit replacing my second monitor (1080p to 1440)

I have an acer predator 1440 165hz as my main display for gaming.. I use a dell ultrasharp ips 1080 monitor for web browsing, videos and work applications. however i want to replace it with a 1440 60hz monitor. will I be taking any performance hit in games? (because it has to run both monitors in 1440)

You probably will see a decrease in frame rates. The second monitor would only increase resolution, so I wouldn't think that it be a major decrease in performance. It would be worse of a performance hit if both the resolution and refresh rate were increased.

If you only game in of the monitors, you will not see any fps decrease on that monitor.
You are gaming only on the 1440p 144Hz yes?
