Hello,
I am planning to upgrade my pc to Ryzen,

System will be as followed:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x or Ryzen 7 2700x (if i can find a good deal on it)
GPU: Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 8gb -already owned
RAM: 2x8GB of DDR4 2600Mhz+ Depends on what sale i will find
MOBO: ASUS TUF X470-PLUS GAMING -or- MSI X470 GAMING PRO CARBON
Storage: 1x60gb Kingston SSD , 1x480gb Adata SSD, 1x500gb WD HDD -already owned
Other: 7x 120x120mm LED Case Fans

I want to know 2 things:

1. I currently have this Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart SE 530w Gold
Code:

Do i have to get a new one or will this one handle the new parts?

2. Between the two Mobo-s listed which one is better for Overclocking, has a better UI, etc.?

Thanks in advance.

1. That PSU is meh. Its fine for office PCs without a dedicated GPU but for yours I would definitely invest in a better quality one. Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W or EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W are good options.

2. Both Mobos are very similar. Its about preference and needs. Many people prefer ASUS, including me. But between these two, I would get the MSI board because of the better sound options and 3 full length PCIe slots. I have a 5.1 Speaker System and I use many PCIe accessories thats why. And im pretty sure the MSI board has better power delivery (better for overclocking)
