Hey guys,

Considering buying a second hand QX2710 monitor. It is a 27" 1440p monitor, but only has a DVI input. Is this fine? Can I hook this up with the regular DVI cable to my gtx 1070 and get 1440p?

Also, owner has been overclocking it at 120hz. Is that a concern?

Solution
Use a DVI dual link cable.

If the monitor is working, dont concern yourself with the OC. Over at Anandtech there is pretty thorough review.

I had one of those cheap panels earlier. My biggest thing was the coilwhine when displaying bright pictures. Max OC on my display was 67hz.
