I'm about to buy a RX 580 Sapphire Nitro.
Some of my friends are saying that it has heat issues. I'm not thinking about overclocking it and also will use the stock fans. So is there really a problem of heat in RX 580?

Solution
I had an ASUS Dual X RX480 which was very similar to the Sapphire Nitro and I never had any issues with it running hot, I don't think it ever went over mid to late 60s even under stress testing. Only got hot when I overclocked it.

Based on BIOS, should work at 75c or lower. Throttles at 87c.

Most people complaining about temps have bad airflow inside their case which can be fixed by buying a couple of case fans.
Still, the SAPPHIRE RX 580 Nitro+ was operating at a maximum of 57C under my 1500MHz+ overclock thanks to the increased fan speed of around 2100RPM.

BTW, have you considered GTX 1060 6GB?
