These are the two monitors I'm comparing:

I already owned the ASUS one and it works great but it was only 60Hz and I wanted to upgrade. I saw the Acer one on sale and grabbed it, but I'm having a hell of a time matching the picture and color quality of my original ASUS one. I know the ASUS one is more expensive but everything I'm reading online seems to indicate that Acer can get up to speed with the right settings.
Two problems - the colors seem more "washed out" or dull than the ASUS one. I'm not sophisticated enough to know if that has to do with contrast or black levels or what. The second problem is blurriness. I tried the super sharpening thing but that's terrible.
Any thoughts? Did I just waste my money or is there something I'm missing?
