Overclocking a Ryzen 3 2200G on 3+3 VRM?

I'm helping a friend build a gaming rig and we've bought an ASRock AB350M motherboard to go in it. However, contrary to appearances (and the specifications on the website for that matter), we now know that it only has a 3+3 VRM configuration.

Is this sufficient to get a decent overclock on a 2200G?

Here's the rest of the components for reference:
CPU cooler: Stock (Wraith Stealth)
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1060 3GB
PSU: EVGA BQ 500W
RAM: Crucial ValueRAM 8GB 2400MHz (single channel)
Case: CiT F3 (also known as the Tecware F3)
SSD: Kingston A400 120GB
HDD: 1TB

Thanks kids

Nah that Board does have a 3 Phase CPU VRM. Yes is it a doubled 3 Phase but a really dumb one.
If i remember it right then 2 phases turn on together instead of one at a time.

So it actually is a 3 Phase CPU, 3 Phase SOC and 1 Phase Dram Design.

Here is a little Breakdown of the VRM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzRG_LjUl8Q

Ah, it hadn't occured to me that intel and AMD might differ on the single channel / dual channel question.

Yeah that's the video that I saw. Do you think it will be a problem for overclocking a 2200G? The impression I've got is that it's the higher end CPUs (especially those with 6+ cores) that run into problems more so than the budget range.

Interesting, thanks for the tip.

I dont think that you will run into issues with a 2200G since it does not consume a lot of power.
I wouldnt run a 2700/X on that Board but 220G is fine :)

A fan abovet the VRM and everything should be fine in my opinion.

That's a relief. Any idea what sort of CPU / CPU wattage you would consider the limit for that board?
