Approximate Purchase Date: October 2018
Budget Range: $1700 - $2000 CAD. **Under $3000 with a 3440x1440 monitor.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, streaming, basic CAD/CAM (what I'm currently in college for).
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon, Newegg.
Country: Canada.
Overclocking: In the future when I get a better CPU cooler.
SLI or Crossfire: Yes / No / Maybe
Monitor Resolution: 3440x1440 (Looking to buy a monitor as well)
I'd like to build a system capable of driving a 60hz 3440x1440 monitor that I can use for gaming and light CAD/CAM work. It's going to be the main system for my sister and I tried to get quality parts without bringing the price up too much because the machine will be running for 14+ hours everyday. I would have liked to get a 1080TI but the price difference from a 1080 just seems to be a bit much.
Here's a list I came up with, just wondering if everything looks like it will work well together. Suggestions are appreciated/ welcome.
