Need a new screen and want to spend between £100 and £140. what are the best value for money displays in that price range and what specs should i value the most when looking at different displays. Using mostly for gaming. Have an amd gpu so freesync would be good to have.

A Freesync compatible, IPS panel, 1080p monitor will set you back right around your budgets upper-end.

144quid.

Display size, panel-type and response time would be the biggest factors IMO. Refresh rate, if you want to push some higher frames.
FreeSync is certainly an added bonus.

For example, a 4 or 5ms, IPS panel 60Hz isn't going to set you back much more than 100quid.

Dropping to a TN panel can get you greater refresh rates.
For example, 1080p 144Hz for ~130quid

All depends on the titles...

All depends on the titles you play (IMO). Are you looking for high refresh rates, or better picture quality?

Thanks for your reply, I think Im gonna go with the aoc 144hz one as i think higher refresh rate is more important to me than picture quality and colour accuracy and it looks like quite a good deal at pc world
