Help Me With First Time Build

Okay so I wanted to build a nice gaming PC but I don't really want to spend too much money.
I have spent few days researching different parts, going through various forums and reviews to find the "best" parts i could for a reasonable price.

Purpose for this PC is mainly gaming at max settings 1920x1080 at 144HZ. I would also like to stream some games that are lower on graphics such as League. Also looking to overclock but kinda new to it but i know i can manage. Buying parts and building it in the UK (if it helps).

So there are many parts which have a few alternatives and few that I'm still a little unsure about so if anyone could help me finish up the build and point me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the build so far:

--Graphics Card--
MSI - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GAMING X 8G Video Card - £470
// I found this to be a really good gtx 1080 for a good price, and from what I've read many people like the MSI manafacturer.

--Processors-- // Not sure here if its worth £40 to upgrade to i7
Intel Core i5 8600K 3.6GHz Socket 1151 Processor - £260
or
Intel Core i7 8700K 3.7GHz Socket 1151 Processor - £300

--SSD--
Kingston A400 120GB SSD - £23

--HDD--
Toshiba P300 1TB 3.5'' SATA High-Performance Hard Drive - £36

--RAM-- // Not sure if i need 16GB or if 8GB would be enough
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200 2400MHz - £128

--PSU--
Corsair 650W CX650 Bronze ATX - £60
// Do I need more watts or is this one good enough?

--CPU Cooling-- // Don't want to use water cooling
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Processor cooler - £24
// I want to overclock so I don't know if the Evo will be ok or if the noctua is Really that worth it, I would like to save some money here if possible. Maybe some alternative option?
or
Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler - £80

--Motherboard-- // Really not sure which does best or other boards better than these?
MSI - Z370 KRAIT GAMING ATX LGA1151 - £145
// So people say the krait motheboard has a better audio so I'm kinda leaning a little bit towards that option but the other two are a lot cheaper.
or
MSI - Z370-A PRO ATX LGA1151 - £103
// Cheap board and apparently good for OC
or
MSI - Z370 SLI PLUS ATX LGA1151 - £120
//Maybe this one?

--Monitor--
ViewSonic XG2401 24" Professional Gaming Monitor - £195

--Case-- // I have no idea which case to buy.
NZXT Source S340 White Mid Tower Case - £65
// Maybe this one? but would prefer something a little lower in price since its just a case.
and will this case fit all the wires etc and will it be hard to manage it.

Please let me know anything about the parts here, whether anything can be improved for a small cost or something has a better alternative. If u have any of those parts and you would recommend them or not.

Also i don't really care about the looks - just the specs for the minimal cost.

Goal for me is to be 100 percent sure with what I'm buying and have no regrets afterwards.

Thanks for the response.
I checked the i5 8600K on the website and they lie about the price. The cheapest i found is for £260 and some people have said to go with the i7 8700k if i want to stream some games, an extra £40 for the i7 seems kinda worth it to me unless the i5 has something i dont know about.
Whats the difference between the Power Supplies is the Gold a lot better than Bronze?
Also the case is where I'm mostly confused i think i need the mid towers but will the nzxt be easy to manage(cables and stuff)?

If streaming 8700k or ryzen 2600 (or higher). Need 2x8gb fast ram for sure.

You’re buying a board for overclocking so need a much more substantial cooler. My Cryorig H5 is fine for all-core 4.7ghz but if you want to go higher look at the one listed above.

Just bought the viewsonic but took the XG2402 version since there was a reduction for £220.
Also will this Phanteks case be easy for cable management? My first build so don't want it to be too hard, thanks for the list tho

Hey sorry for asking so many questions but I'm almost there. I was reading about the case you mentioned it looks good but i heard that it lets some dust in through the side near the front panel this is not a major problem for me. But i found another case which is white(little plus for me) and looks kinda similar.
Fractal Design - Meshify C White TG ATX Mid Tower Case
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/BBrmP6/fractal-design-meshify-c-white-tg-atx-mid-tower-case-fd-ca-mesh-c-wt-tgc

This is pretty much the last thing for me so ill go with either one just wanted to know if the white one is decent.

Thanks bmockeg for the input. I have finished up the parts that I will buy but unfortunately the i7 8700k and i5 8600k are out of stock atm, so I will have to wait a few weeks before buying sadly.
