LED TV as monitor

Hello friends, would it be a good idea to use a LEDTV as a gaming monitor. If yes what all care should be taken

Fine as a general PC monitor but not for gaming (poor response times, scaling issues & blurry text are just some of the issues you may experience).

I am using a 50 inch, 4k 60Hz tv as a monitor and it works more than well enough...Unless you are a professional gamer, they are more than fine and you can find very low latency TV's as well...more importantly, I find they cost a lot less..
