I want to daisy-chain two Dell U2415 monitors, running them on Lenovo Thinkpad E580 with a Radeon RX 550 graphics card. First monitor is connected via HDMI. Next, a cable runs from Monitor 1 DisplayPort Out to Monitor 2 miniDP in using an original cable supplied by Dell.
Monitor 1 has DP 1.2 enabled, Monitor 2 - disabled by default setting by the manufacturer.
The input source on Monitor 2 is set to miniDP.
However, all I get is a message on Monitor 2 that no signals are coming from the computer and asking me to press any key to activate it.
I run Monitor 1 as the only display (not displaying anything on the laptop screen).
Please, help me sort this out as I do not know what the issue might be caused by.
