Hey there, so I was doing an OS upgrade manually for windows 10 and I formatted C drive but then I came to know that the windows cannot be installed because my disk is of GPT type. Now I made a gpt Fat32 format of bootable usb but it is not showing in the boot menu in the UEFI mode and when I choose Legacy the boot doesn't happen and it says boot from that drive failed. Please help me because I have very valuable data in other drives(in TBs) and I don't want to erase the drive and convert it into MBR because that will erase all my data. Please help!

GPT is a good partition scheme. The normal installation steps for windows 10 will take care of making the USB device work properly and install the operating system. Try taking these steps to install windows:

Go to the windows download site and follow the instructions to create the USB media creation device

It's advisable to boot in UEFI mode. First disconnect all drives except the one you intend to install to. Then Insert the usb media tool, with the windows install files, into the board. Then go to the board setup BIOS and ensure the board is configured to use UEFI settings, not compatibility or legacy mode.

Then go to the board setup BIOS and ensure the board is configured to use UEFI settings, not compatibility or legacy mode.
On the motherboard boot device menu, select the command that identifies both the firmware mode and the device. For example, select UEFI: USB Drive (Windows Boot Manager manager may also work) and list that device in the first boot slot on the board.
Reboot. Install begins.
When choosing an installation type, select Custom.A new disk will show a single area of unallocated space. However If there are partitions, select each one and then "delete".
Select the unallocated space on the install disk and click Next. Windows detects that the PC was booted into UEFI mode, and formats the drive using the GPT drive format, and begins the installation.
Of course all data on the drive will be deleted.
